AGV and AMR manufacturers at a glance

Robot manufacturers differ in vehicle design, load handling, environment and software. This overview groups them by practical application rather than assigning a quality ranking.

Select vehicle and fleet software as distinct parts

A manufacturer supplies vehicles and often their own controller. A cross-vendor platform can coordinate several brands above or alongside those systems. Vehicles, manufacturer controllers and cross-vendor fleet software have distinct responsibilities.

The examples are selection aids, not compatibility guarantees. Confirm the exact model and application.

Innok Robotics

Indoor and outdoor transport

Innok is relevant to suitable between-building and outdoor towing tasks.

Check: Ground conditions, gradients, weather, coupling and the complete trailer geometry.

STILL

Automated industrial trucks and material flow

STILL describes automation within its iGo environment and a transport-control layer. iGo insights analyses operational data. Telemetry and the operational assignment of transport work are different functions.

Check: The proposed iGo configuration, physical transfer and the boundary between vehicle, transport and warehouse control.

Linde Material Handling

MATIC vehicles and automation

The MATIC family covers different automated vehicle classes. MATIC:move also addresses a simplified entry into automation. Vehicle and control scope must be considered together.

Check: Vehicle variant, lift height, load centre, control scope and service.

AGILOX

AMRs with decentralized coordination

AGILOX combines its vehicles with X-SWARM. Robots coordinate within the system, an architectural distinction from a conventional central fleet computer. Different models address different carriers.

Check: Load carriers, transfer heights and coordination with other brands.

VisionNav Robotics

Autonomous forklifts and Robot Control System

Suitable pallet and lifting processes depend on the proposed model.

Check: Pallet recognition, lifting and handover, interfaces and regional service.

Mobile Industrial Robots (MiR)

Platforms, top modules and fleet software

MiR provides mobile robots, modules and supporting software. MiR Fleet coordinates the manufacturer fleet. Base vehicle and module should be assessed as a complete solution.

Check: Module integration, docking, routes and compatible software versions.

Four questions for every manufacturer

  • Can this vehicle pick up, move and deposit my actual carrier?
  • Who integrates, accepts and supports the complete solution?
  • Which interface and version is actually supplied?
  • What happens with a blocked route, missing load or interrupted connection?

Make proposals comparable.
